This piece was rediculously experimental.
Final Painting for Painting 3
If I had had more time the bottom half would have eventually been enveloped by tangled imagery and color weaving blah blahblaaaahhh.
I effed up during the crit and said that it was solely a color and form study...that's not true at all but when the pressure's on. You know.
Anywho, it's half a color and form study and half an attempt to portray emotion while getting a bit more abstract (slowly but surely).
The figure is supposed to convey desperation and longing...perhaps the anxiety that one feels when their heart is under seizure.
